Welcome to Pelton Fell's Community Website where you will find community information on Pelton Fell including local news, events, history and community groups.
Pelton Fell is an old mining village situated one mile West of Chester-le-Street in County Durham. It is built on the land which rises above the Cong Burn and dates from the mid-nineteenth century. Since 2004, the village has been redeveloped through a housing led regeneration programme and this included the refurbishment of the old village hall into The Brockwell Centre.
Pelton Fell has a strong community network with many community groups involved in a variety of activities. Pelton Fell Community Partnership (PFCP) is one of the partners in this community network and has established this website as a facility to improve the communication between these groups, local residents and visitors to the area.
